Senior Solana Engineer

This is a 100% remote contract role. You set your own schedule, whether you are looking for part-time or full-time.

You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

What you will do

• ●Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Base, or Solana.
• ●Collaborate with the development team to create and implement decentralized applications (DApps).
• ●Write high-quality, secure, and sustainable code for blockchain applications.
• ●Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• ●Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

What you bring

• ●Production React and Next.js (App Router) experience
• ●Proven experience in Solana blockchain development with an extensive portfolio of developed projects.
• ●Strong understanding of Solana's architecture and ecosystem, including smart contracts and DeFi protocols.
• ●Experience with database technologies such as Postgres, Redis, and familiarity with other NoSQL databases.
• ●Thorough understanding of best practices in coding, security, and performance.
• ●Previous experience with various container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Nice to have

• ●Experience with other blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Cosmos, or Bitcoin.
• ●Prior experience in high-paced, growth-oriented companies or startups.
• ●Familiarity with Kafka for handling large volumes of data in distributed systems.
